Each of these basic creativity software packages uses a creativity technique - a method to stimulate creative thinking. It's a good idea to have a range of techniques available to improve your results. Each program looks something like the picture alongside. Click on the Technique button to get advice on how to use the technique and the application.

Option Evaluation

There is often a need to make a decision from a list of options whether you are deciding which creative idea to carry forward, or which individual to recruit for a job. For a quick and free analysis you can use a spreadsheet. This Excel (95 or later) spreadsheet allows you to make a decision between a number of options systematically. It is set up for a recruitment example, but you can modify the options, criteria, weights and score to make it apply to anything.
