Creative Whack Pack

Champion of the less formal style of business creativity, von Oech's approach may be a bit too zany for some European audiences, but he knows his stuff and puts it across with verve.

This unusual aid to creativity comes in the form of a 64 card pack. Each card has a technique on it, carrying a different way of looking at a problem.

The cards are divided into four suits: Explorer, Artist, Judge and Warrior. The Explorer gathers the raw materials for building new ideas. The Artist combines different components from the ideas palette to come up with new directions. The Judge assesses the ideas and evaluates them. The Warrior is the implementer, putting the idea into action.

There are many ways to use Creative Whack Pack, whether it's simply dealing out a hand and working through them, or going through the suits in sequence. Whichever suits you best, this is a great creativity tool.
